Ship Shape and Stormy - Raffle Quilt 2011

The raffle quilt for 2011 is taking shape. Thank you to the 45 members who came out to the Piece Rallies in January to help 'birth' this quilt. In 2010 leading up to the raffle year, I have decided to seek some recognition for the guild and will be entering it in the Group Quilt category at the Houston IQA show - the largest quilt show in the world. Each one who had a part in its creation will be listed in the group. Entries are juried so I can't promise that ours will be accepted, but we will never know unless we try.

So... I need a creative collaborator for the machine quilting and am issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP). Any member in good standing may submit a proposal for the machine quilting.  The Raffle Quilt Committee in collaboration with guild officers will review proposals and make the final decision. Submission deadline is March 11, 2010.  The bid will be awarded March 18, 2010.
