Bayshore Quilters:
Join fellow Guild members at Bayshore in Waldport from 10:00-4:00 on Fridays. Members support each other and work in 'quilting bee' style to hand quilt participating members projects.

Knotty Ladies:
This quilting group meets every Wednesday at 11:30 until 3:00 at the Newport Senior Activities Center in the basement. Bring your own projects and get help, advice, and good conversation. The group usually have lunch together on the first Wednesday of each month and then go to the Senior Center for the usual session.

Lincoln City Satellite Groups
Two satellite groups of the guild meet weekly in Lincoln City. Quilters with a View meet every Thursday at 10:00 at the Lincoln City Community Center. Lincoln City Sewers meet on Tuesdays at 10:00 also in the Lincoln City Community Center.

Round Robin:
We are taking a rest from Round Robin this year

Challenge Quilts:
In keeping with the Quilters Holidays theme of the 2008 quilt show, the challenge quilt calls for the creation of a depiction of a favorite holiday tradition. It must include some 3-dimensional element and be no more than 100 inches in perimeter. A paragraph describing the tradition should alsoo be included.

Small Quilt Auction:
Following on the success of last year, we will again have an auction of small quilts donated by OCQG members. The designated charity will be selected in a drawing from participating members. Because we’re space-limited, we’d like quilts to be no more than 100 ” in perimeter. You may set a minimum price/starting bid price, or note an estimated value, or both. Let Karen Oetjen or Paulette Stenberg know if you’ll participate, and turn in quilts no later than the July meeting.

Pot Luck:
We have two pot lucks a year - May and December. The potlucks become the program for the General Meeting during those months.
