December's Block of the Month is a Holiday Churn Dash. Use small traditional red or green Christmas prints to combine with the white sparkle background provided. This is a simple block that takes less than 20 minutes to complete

Your packet contains fabric for white sparkle background. Choose a small traditional red or green Christmas print.

Cut background:
1 2.5"x2.5" square
4 1.5"x2.5" rectangles
2 3.5"x3.5" squares

Cut print:
2 3.5"x3.5" squares
4 1.5"x2.5" rectangles

Draw a diagonal line on each 3.5" square and sew 1/4 inch on each side of the line. Cut apart and trim to 2.5"x2.5". Assemble block as shown. Measure after each seam. Adjust as necessary. Press seam toward the color fabric.

Unfinished block size is 6.5 "
