HOSTESS INSTRUCTIONS Supplies are in the store room (down hall to end, go thru doors on left, storage door on left). "OCQG" supplies are in 2 blue labeled boxes (tubs), take to kitchen. First get 2 small coffee pots down from top shelf on west wall in kitchen, one for hot water for tea, one for coffee, measuring cup is on one of the cans, 1 cup of grounds for full pot. Put cups (hot and cold), sugars, teas, etc. out on counter, also a few napkins, spoons, pitcher or bottle of drinking water. Set up table for refreshments, plates, napkins, etc. These supplies are furnished by the Guild. If an item is low and out, contact the Hostess Chairperson. Set the two waste baskets out by kitchen doors for members to dispose of plates, etc. Closing: Put all supplies back in blue tubs. Empty coffee pots, rinse, dry with paper towels, and put up on shelf. Sinks and kitchen counters need to be left "CLEAN". Put lids on tubs and return to storage room. Committee needs to call each other to coordinate what each will bring and need to get there early to start set-up, 12:30 for days and 5:30 for nights. Prepare for 75+ at day meetings and 60+ at night meetings. some members are diabetic, so include foods for them too. Finger foods are great but we do have spoons and forks, if needed. Liquid refreshments are provided by the Guild including punch. Please bring food ready to serve, if possible. If you want special plates or other items and would like to be reimbursed for them, please call chairperson of Hostess/Hospitality, but please keep in mind that our budget for the year is only $150.00.
