Workshops

The following is the 2010 OCQG Workshop Schedule.  Our workshops are open to non-guild members as space permits.  If you are interested in attending one of our workshops or have questions please email Darcy de la Rosa at NutrRx@yahoo.com or call her at 541-265-3816.  Fees are listed as of December 2009, but are subject to change.  All workshops are held at the Atonement Lutheran Church in Newport from 9:30am to 4:30pm.

Innovative Traditionals | Fri-Sat, October 15-16 | Instructor, Janet Fogg|Cost $86

Skill and imagination are key words for describing Janet Fogg as an artist and teacher.  Original pattern drawing and curved machine piecing will be taught in class.  However, the ultimate techniques used to create individual works will be chosen by the participants.

Fractured Crystals | Friday November 12 | Instructor, Linda Ballard | Cost $39

Thirty Something Stars | Sat November 13 | Instructor, Linda Ballard | Cost $39
Two different workshops will double the participants who will benefit from Linda’s award winning instruction.  She lives in northern California and travels around the country offering her expertise.  She has been nominated as Professional Quilter 2009 Teacher of the Year and has been featured in a variety of quilting magazines.
